About Ms. McAfee

          Ms. McAfee loves working at Crutcho Elementary as the Superintendent of Schools.  The job is not always easy, but it is always rewarding!  Nothing is more satisfying than knowing you make a positive difference in the life of a child.  Working with children is a must for me, but I also love the opportunities I have as the Superintendent to positively impact the students, families, staff, and community as a whole. 

     I am married to Robin Wagner.  We were married on Thanksgiving Day in 2009 on a beautiful beach in Key West.  He does cabinets, trim, remodels, and home building.  I have three children, Phillip, Taran, and Ashley.  My son, Phillip works at Tinker Air Force Base as an Air Craft Sheet Metal Mechanic.  My stepson, Taran is attended Tulsa Welding School and currently works at Cimarron Energy.  And my daughter, Ashley is a freshman at Oklahoma City Community College. She hopes to own and run a Bed and Breakfast in Colorado when she grows up. I am very proud and excited for all of them.  

     I began my teaching career at Little Axe Elementary in 1986.  While employed with Little Axe, I taught first grade, third grade, and gifted and talented classes.  I also served as the Director of Special Education, the Title VII Math and Science Resource Demonstration Teacher, Assistant Principal, and Principal.  In 2004, I took a leave of absence to focus on a private business (frozen custard shops).   I have been employed at Crutcho since July of 2005.

     My hobbies include gardening, photography, working with technology, NASCAR, Thunder Basketball, and I love vacationing with my family.  I would love to pursue glass blowing as a hobby in the future.  You can check out my photo album to see some pictures of my hobbies, my family, and my silly old dog, Blue and my crazy but affectionate dog, Spaz.
