The Crutcho Elementary family lost one of our students to a tragic accident on Thursday, August 14, 2014. Lebron Davis would have been entering the eighth grade this school year. He had been a student at Crutcho since kindergarten. Our thoughts and prayers are with Lebron’s family and friends as they work through this difficult time.
The faculty and staff will be meeting with mental health professionals on Monday to help us prepare to provide emotional support for our students and parents.
Tuesday will be our first day of school. We will have several counselors on hand on Tuesday. Teachers and counselors will be prepared to answer questions and reassure our students.
If you find your child is struggling more than you would expect, please contact the school staff to discuss how we might best provide additional support.
